"Show-Me!"

We're happy you decided to give us a visit. It's been awhile since our last update, but 2006 & 2007 have been about as hectic as we can remember! For those that are unaware, career changes necessitated a move in 2006 from the prairies of Kansas where we had been for the ten prior years, back to the friendly confines of St. Louis. Our travels have had us to the area twice before, and our friends here have really made us feel like we're 'coming home'! The down side being though that the older we get, the more difficult the moves seem to be? For the most part, the dogs seemed to make the adjustments easier than us and without any serious problems. They especially liked the period when we were getting the fencing and runs situated, and they were 'in charge'! Talk about the in-mates running the asylum!

As we head towards the end of another year, the holi-days and winter are just upon us. After a "busy" couple of months, and a lot of hard work, the new house is beginning to feel like home.We will soon be off to a few shows and get to visit with friends we haven't seen for much of the year- at least since the National in Oregon. We have some exciting new additons here- but that will have to wait until we get more time to update, and re-do the site.

Cedar Hill, Missouri (Metro St. Louis Area) is now the new home to the Shelties of Rapporlee. Dedicated to the breed, and the preservation of its standard, we have over 35 years of experience and successes toward that end; we remain today as enthusiastic, and committed as when we started. Conformation exhibitors, and breeders; members of the American Shetland Sheepdog Association; Greater St. Louis Shetland Sheepdog Club. Founding members of Sheltie Rescue of Central Indiana, and Wheatland Sheltie Rescue. Concentrating exclusively on the 'Sea Isle' look to maintain the 'type' and character-istics of those we originally fell in love with; our dogs must exhibit overall balance, soundness, expression and temperament. The 'residents' include many of our well known Champions & Studs, as well as many young prospects and up-and-comers waiting in the wings. As the Regional Advisors/ Mentors for the ASSA, we are always happy to share information & answer questions on the breed, as well as direct prospective owners as to puppy or rescue availability in the St. Louis Area.
